Social Media Graphics
Through the years, I've managed the social media accounts of many local businesses. However, most often I would be hired to simply design the posts (and sometimes write the captions) based on the instructions and prompts from my client! When designing for various businesses - especially when each is vastly different - it is important to keep true to the aesthetic and theme of the brand.
I'll be sharing a glimpse into my time designing social media content for two local businesses: Highland Medical Aesthetics, and Stacey Coughlin - Realtor.

MEDICAL SPA:
Highland Medical Aesthetics
Highland Medical Spa hired me (freelancing through The Advisor Agency) for the most variety of projects, but mainly social media graphics. My team helped this startup launch from Day 1, and it was an incredible experience. I created designs to post for their Grand Opening, Educational Opportunities, Getting to Know the Business, and more!

Educational Posts
One of the biggest suggestions my team pitched was an educational focus - something worth sharing with friends, saving for later, and increasing retention rates. With details in the caption, and linking to resources on their website, this kept customers feeling knowledgeable and trusting of this new business.

Educational: Before & Afters

Grand Opening
When it was time for Highland to prepare for their Grand Opening, they had the idea of hosting a huge party with massive discounts, swag bags, gift certificate specials, and more. I was tasked with creating a carousel for the specials, mostly with information on each slide. We knew it would be a lot of information, so we kept the most important sales to them within the first few slides.

Nurse Practitioner Week
I was instructed to create a series of posts that were simple and straightforward to introduce the team for Nurse Practitioner Week. Naturally, most of the introductory text was in the caption, but we wanted to create a clean graphic that still catches the eye.

REALTOR:
Stacey Coughlin
Believe it or not, managing the social media of a realtor is much harder than it sounds! There are many rules you must follow, and keeping in contact and up to date with the realtor is vital. I had to get creative with managing Stacey's socials because it's not just posting listings all the time. It's important to be knowledgeable about what's going on in the area, feeding the community educational content to build trust, sharing a glimpse into the life behind the account, and so much more.
Educational: Not Only For Clients
When I asked what kind of educational content Stacey wanted to share, she not only wanted to educate her clients, but also mentor her fellow realtors! That is a passion of hers we started to explore in her content.

Educational Content
When it comes to creating educational content for a realtor, there are many avenues one could explore. We shared a lot of home-care tips, things to dream about in your "dream home", home-buying prep, and more.

Testimonials
Something I learned is important in the real estate space online is testimonials. Even just a simple post as this with real people giving real reviews is incredibly valuable to locals online.
